There's nothing really illegal about it though. People think it is because they don't understand the laws.

Roc Nations is planting seeds of revolt by making these high profile offers only to have Haymon take these offers out of the mouths of his fighters. Quillin & Wilder were both denied offers of a lifetime when you consider both mean have a good chance at losing in their next fight or two. If this continues where more Haymon fighters are denied massive paydays and then lose out future earnings, we'll likely see a major lawsuit against Haymon by a group of his fighters, not too unlike what happened against Don King.

It isn't illegal but it's shady as hell and he controls a fighters life, but makes them think "it's good for them." Old *** does it he's an evil mother ****er, black guy does it and is the savior of boxing lol.

Rafael's extremely biased and his opinion isnt worth much but he is able to get valuable info, its a bad look that he gets to be the face over at ESPN as far as boxing.

I think Rafeal and other reporters of his ilk that have big league credentials is part of the reason why so many boxing fans find their news, updates and opinions on smaller independent sources rather then the big corporate en****** that cover boxing.

As far as the purse bid ,Roc sports seems to be going out of their way to create discontent and stir the pot among Haymons stable, probably with the blessing Of HBO trying some divide & conquer tactics. I mean if it's already known that Jay & Haymon have previous tensions what makes you think Haymkns going to hand over his fighters for him to make $. And why is Roc sports so far only going after Haymon fighters purse bids?

Theres gotta be something there. Some kind of plan he has that makes almost every boxer want to be with him.

Ill just wait to see what it is. The network plan sound s like a step in the right direction

It's illegal to act as a promoter and a manager, and that'd exactly what Haymon has been doing for years.
