World Boxing Council (WBC) interim-middleweight champion Marco Antonio Rubio came in at 165.7-pounds as he took part in the WBC's mandatory seven day weighin. Next Saturday night, Rubio will take on IBO/WBA champion Gennady Golovkin in an HBO televised unification from the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The winner will become the mandatory challenger to WBC champion Miguel Cotto. Golovkin's seven day weight was not available but when they weighed in 30 days ago, Golovkin was 165 and Rubio was 174.5
