You're kidding yourself if you think they'll wait 2-3 years with him.

He's 24-25 years old. He needs to step it up in the next 12-18 months and he will.

9 fights, 9 knocksout, all within 3 rounds. He beat a fighter tonight who went 12 rounds with fighters who fought world class opposition.

How is it even possible for anybody to not be impressed by this? You can't, simply CAN'T ask for a better start to a career. As has been said, at this point of his career he is doing better than Lennox Lewis, Wladimir, etc. At this point.

I want to see Joshua fight a bit more rangy and get full extension without giving up any position.

That was the best performance I've seen from Joshua. I hadn't liked his hand placement after he threw certain punches but today I felt that he was at the very least more cognizant of getting his hands back for defense, especially on his right side. But everything else was very impressive. his punches were quick and compact..very straight punches and then he can open up and throw soem really nice combinations that look devastating. And at HW, love to see the attitude start to form with the confident smirk he had on his face during the first round. Plenty of improvement from one fight to the next and he says all the right things which is great

            Thanks for posting that.

His 9th fight and he looks good. He has to keep that left up and stop grinning so much

I watched Lennox from his first pro fight. I'm a huge fan and Lennox is in the top three boxers I have ever seen fight. Joshua though, is phenomenal, way ahead of lewis at this stage in their careers. Even right now, he would probably give Wlad a harder nights work than anyone on the planet, and thats not to do Wlad a disservice, he is awesome, its just that Joshua is THAT good(gotta qualify that by saying that after 35 years as a boxing fan, I could have this spectacularly wrong and it wouldnt be the first time, but I dont think so)

What I like most is Joshua throws a great variety of punches, is active in the ring, and great poise for a guy with NINE fights!

He looked a bit off balance for a second but difficult to tell if he was hurt, if he was he dealt with it well. He stood back and then came straight back firing.
