I'd much rather see Swift in there with Lamont, Broner, Herrera rematch or a move to 147.

It's so ****** that you guys are complaining already when we don't know who Danny is going to fight. No. Danny does not fight Salka type of opponents only so stop it with that.
But you said whoever Garcia fights next will be better than Algieri. Are those guys any better? Broner looks worse, for one.

Danny's got to fight a decent fighter next.

        Has to be PEDerson, right?
Wasn't Salka a voluntary? Well, it had to be.

Please tell me and explain me, since when is chris algiero a more accomplished fighter than Lamont Peterson, Adrien Broner or even Mauricio Herrera? sht El Meastro beat Ruslan way better than chris did.

He didn't beat him way better, both were disputed, very similar. Herrera also has some not so great recent legit losses. Broner barely even got by Taylor who Algieri schooled, and doesn't have a win near as good as Ruslan.

Man, you're working really hard to defend a "champion" who admittedly takes zero control of his own career. His dipshifather always talks about him being THE CHAMPION but he won't even fight his mandatory. How about a Matthysse rematch???

I'm not defending anyone. I'm just a fan and i was extremely dissapointed in Danny's last two fights. History (Khan, Matthysse etc) has shown us that Danny can step up to the big plate. You guys always make it seem as if all of Swift's 29 opponents where Rod Salka kind of fighters. Let's just not get ahead of ourselves and complain about something we don't know about. Let's wait for the official announcement of Garcia's opponent and then give our opinions.

About "Swift not controlling his carreer". Danny is a fighter not an executive. The only way Danny can control his carreer is by going to the gym and giving it all he has to be ready for whoever they put in front of him.

Dude got a taste of that easy money, obviously wants to protect his "0" and become a diva. He's made it clear he don't give a **** about legacy or true greatness, like most Haymon fighters, they're only in it for the $$$.

Taking "Boxing is a business" to the next level.
I'd be genuinely surprised if he fights a legitimate threat next.
