Former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (38-4, 22KOs) is very disappointed with the latest developments which canceled out his December HBO televised return against Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs). Canelo withdrew with an ankle injury.

Canelo is now discussing the possibility of going straight into a fight with Miguel Cotto in May. The new direction by Canelo is making Clottey grow su****ious as to the claimed ankle injury.

What may turn out pathetic, though, is that Alvarez may end up NOT getting the Cotto fight - at least not in the way and manner or timing he thought could be dictated by his (Alvarez) Team.

Canelo - with De La Hoya's prodding/acquiescence - appears to be running before he could walk. And that can cost him and his purely nationalistic fan base. Hmm.
