lol, ya think? Let's weigh Canelo's options.

Fight YOU Mr. Clottey and take a high risk low reward fight.
    Or
Fight Miguel Cotto, the current King of the Middleweights, have a pretty good shot at winning and a huge paycheck.

It's obvious what happened here but yeah, still a **** move on Canelo's part to blow off Clottey like that.

I doubt his injury is that serious either. But it doesn't mean Canelo is afraid of Clottey or ducking him. That's just laughable. It could have been that HBO and golden boy saw the reaction by the fans to the crappy fight even from some of Canelos hardcore fans and decided it wasn't worth the trouble.

I know Clottey just looked good KO a 39 year old Australian but to most fans they still remember him from his Margarito, Cotto, and Pac fights. Where he gave fights away (Cotto) (margarito) or went into a shell and let fighters tee off on him.

yup, pretty much my thoughts. I thought it was a good fight. Let Clottey get another good win and show it to the people.

my dear friend. Why canelos team has to be worried about his fans if not because his last ones are plenty of several doubs?. He has two losses, one that looked bad against trout and another with a guy who just lost like angulo. In that sense another crappy fight or another lost or stolen fight shouldnt be a problem for him. The real issue is his ppv numbers are lowering due to his lack of convincent results and they are worried.

I'd still like to see Clottey in a good fight. Maybe Trout or Andrade.

The Canelo fight would've been a fast track to big paydays for Clottey. The reality is, he's going to have to work his way toward that. And that means tougher opposition than Mundine and really proving that he's worthy of another big shot.

Nobody does because it's bull**** to skip Clottey who nobody wants to see him fight and go straight to Cotto. And for once I'm glad someone is pulling some b/s.
