Ok I see ima have to dumb it down for you a bit. When arum stated that he wanted to build an outdoor stadium to increase the capacity, the flowmos started saying that it was nonsense and just an excuse for the fight not to happen cuz outdoor stadiums dont work. Yet, frampton got an outdoor stadium with his promoter and it actually did good numbers. Remember when arum did an outdoor theme at the cesars palace in LV?

Obviously Arum was talking about a temporary stadium that was going to be built specifically for the May-Pac fight. If there's no May-Pac fight... why would he pour his money into the construction, just for the hell of it?Comment

Dudes been extra pissed lately for some reason. I wonder if it has anything to do with everyone around him pleading for him to stop running from Pacquiao? Why is he so riled up, wasn't he just vacationing in Europe? Even Showtime is pressuring him to stop ducking Manny.
Floyd about to have a meltdown...the best prank right now is if Haymon came out and said he wants a PAC-Floyd fightComment

Empire Field was a temporary Canadian football and soccer stadium built at Hastings Park in the Canadian city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Located on the site of the former Empire Stadium, the 27,528 spectator venue was constructed to allow a new retractable roof to be installed at BC Place in 2010 and 2011. Empire Field was home to the Canadian Football League's (CFL) BC Lions for the 2010 and part of the 2011 seasons, and for Major League Soccer's (MLS) Vancouver Whitecaps FC for part of their debut 2011 season.
The venue was constructed by Nussli Group in three months, cost $14.4 million and opened on June 15, 2010. The venue featured 20,500 roofed bucket seats***8212;with the remaining 7,000 being benches***8212;twelve luxury suites, a press room, flood lighting and a FieldTurf artificial turf. The venue's record attendance are two sell-out matches: for the Lions it occurred in inaugural 2010 regular-season match against the Saskatchewan Roughriders; for the Whitecaps, it was a regular-season match against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Dismantling took place in November and December 2011 and the site is now fenced off and unused. It has been reported that it will eventually be used as a community playing field.
Why is the idea so far-fetched to you?Last edited by ThePrince; 10-11-2014, 01:51 PM.Comment
