Comments Thread For: Rios vs. Castellanos Early Results From Indio, California

Ronny Rios puts his unbeaten record on the line as he faces Robinson Castellanos in a scheduled 10-round bout Friday evening at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

The fight takes place at a catchweight of 128 lb. as Rios (23-0, 10KOs) tries to decide whether to remain at featherweight, or eventually move up to super featherweight prior to pursuing his first major title.

Castellanos (19-10, 12KOs) aims to regain past form that led to an upset of Celestino Caballero last April. The 32-year enters on the heels of a knockout loss to Rene Alvarado in February. [Click Here To Read More]

Someone needs to get rid of that psychopathic nerd looking ring announcer with the warped face! So far two boring setups.....nothing to see here folks, other than a crazed nerd looking ring announcer who looks like a younger raul marquez after getting his face warped. But nice to see Rios getting smashed right now.

That fight went on way too long. Rios got the living **** beat out of him, but props to him because he never was going to quit. Castellanos looked great.

Rios is a better fighter than what he shown tonight. He seemed weight drained, needs to move up

Gonzalez vs Castellanos would be a great fight. Hopefully it gets made soon.

Yeah, drained by the weight of Castellanos punches! Rios was more filled out and slightly chubby compared to most fighters. If he was weight-drained, then he was beaten by a guy who was emaciated because Rios has WAY more body fat than Castellanos.

Too many people are wined, dined, and seduced by unbeaten records.
