He's not really a diva, at least not for the reasons you guys have mentioned so far. The only thing I can hold against him is that he ducked Gamboa.

If you know much about him, you'd know that he's said he doesn't really desire to have a long career in the sport. He pretty much does it because he's so good at boxing. It's not like his heart bleeds for sport. He said he wants some big paydays and then he's probably out.

Wasn't that always the thing about Mikey he didn't really have a lot of passion more of a professional approach.

Yup. Just considers boxing a job, not his life. And at least he's willingly admitted it.

im a huge fan of garcias skills and style and i love watching him box. that said his lack of passion and love for the sport is kind of a downer as is the way he is going about managing his career. it is refreshing that he is being real about it though, so many fighters bull**** about their intentions as they go strictly for the money.

all in all im still a fan, he is too pure inside that ring for me not to be.
