Yeah, it's always big welterweight Manny who is towering over his undersized opponent.

He didn't duck Gamboa. They couldn't agree on the purse split. Ego and greed from both sides stopped that fight from happening.

Mikey is a very good fighter and much more proven than a lot of posters are making him out to be. His resume is not inferior to Gamboa's at all. Salido, Martinez, Burgos vs Salido, Solis, PDL. I fail to see the big difference.

Well, he's not really wrong, Manny has been fighting at welterweight since '09. Meanwhile, he's fought Marquez, Bradley, Rios and now Algeri, all guys who were fighting at a lower weight class before facing Pacquiao.

Sorry this is boxing, you guys want fighters to "SHUT UP AND BOXING" but at the end of the day these guys have to look out for themselves and try to make the most money possible for themselves and their family so if that means getting away from Arum to do so than SO BE IT, he has that right.

No fighter should be STUCK IN A DEAL for his entire career, if his contract is running out or is up, he should be able to choose what he want to do, either STAY or go elsewhere
Why would you try to bring in common sense to a ******ed thread.

He should get the Andre Ward treatment from NSB soon.

Crawford is the fight. But the two are supposedly very close so it likely won't happen. Well that and the top rank beef.

Not at all. I want to see fighters operate without promotional contracts in the future. Promoters kill fights and serve us bull ****. Ward, Mikey and Rigo are all sidelined because of BS. And think about all the fights that didn't happen because of BS.

I hope more fighters go this route even if it means we miss out on a few years. But the sport cannot continue to function as it is right now. Boxing sucks and needs a complete makeover.
