Absolutely, and I don't want to see him hold it hostage for ages while he makes his decision. If he's already made his mind up about pursuing bigger international fights, then he should drop the belt to the young 'uns. He's snapped up plenty of trinkets to last a lifetime.

For all my ragging on DeGale, he has earned the title shot, so he should be given free reign to go after it as soon as possible. This coming from a Katsidis fanboy who had to wait more than a year for Marquez to make his move in 2009-10.

Froch should fight DeGale. It would be a big fight in the U.K. that will be spoken about for decades when a legend beats a hype job. Afterwards Froch can have his farewell fight in Vegas.

Better than Brook-Khan or Haye-Fury? I don't think so... Plus, that is besides the point. Degale can't even headline a night on Sky Sports yet, he isn't a big sell, not many people like him or how he fights.

No one in their right mind thinks Froch is scared of DeGale, but I don't have a problem with DeGale saying this. He's just doing everything he can to get the fight. And since he has already beaten an OK opponent in an eliminator, I would say he's a deserving challenger. Froch doesn't owe him a fight though.

What? I'm talking about out of all Froch's potential opponents

Oh, sorry I misunderstood there... Yeah probably then, based mainly off Froch's profile and how disliked Degale is. What I said still stands tho, Degale is not a headliner and doesn't sell tickets. Buglioni already has a better following.

I'm a Froch fan but degale is doing nothing wrong here he was respectful until he realised he prob won't get the fight. Froch isn't scared but isn't interested in another domestic fight for his last fight. So degale has to question his manhood to try coax him into the ring.

Who else is there for Froch anyways? Froch-Kessler 3 is a waste, so really who else?

Exactly, he's just trying to rile Froch up to get him to bite.

Froch does owe him a fight however because Degale's his mandatory.
