It shouldn't bother you so much that you keep trying to minimize it. I'm not mad Manny is at 26. My favorites are hagler and Floyd, i'm not mad they are 12th and 13th.
You are absolutely right. When someone asks, "whos floyd mayweather?"
The response will be, "He was a great defensive boxer, but he never fought his number 1 rival. Shame though".

I support it because its a good stylistic matchup. People are acting as if Floyd is going to walk right thru Khan. Not going to happen. This will be a close competitive fight where Khan will have his moments given his attributes.
100 % agree, it is an interesting good stylistic fight. It would be interesting to see , floyd fight someone that is not slow, flat footed, come straight forward, no head movement or defense that is gonna follow him around the ring and be right in front of him all night.

I have never said Khan will beat Floyd, but I think Khsn poses interesting problems for Floyd. He has good movement, fast hand, power, he has the length and is rangy, and he throws effective combinations. He moves laterally . His main flaw is his chin which we all know Floyd will not expolit, due to lack of power and the fact that he wil not risk staying in the pocket long enough to hav that opportunity.

It amazes me that every Floyd fight people still predict KO's when we all know its not gonna happen. Floyd is content to fight a 12rd snooze fests. Also people saying he needs to fight someone credible to get a Floyd fight when none of his previous opponents have.

People are just Khan haters that do not want to see him get a shot. If Floyd's not fighting Pacquiao,Cotto, or Canelo, than I see no problem with this fight. Once again, not saying Khan would win, it would just be interesting to see him fight a different style than the typical hispanic style that he tends to only wanna fight

He never backed down from any challenge and he is fearless and flat out beats fighters, up! How is Roy on that list and Manny isn't???????? How is Floyd ranked higher than Manny? Manny's had the better career as far as accomplishments and legacy. He had a lot of legacy fights before he even went up to save Floyd's division! Hahaha.
But floydie makes more money doe

yeah, same way they say SRR didn't fight Burley. you pac fans live in a really bizarre world. normal, rational people are not concerned with how they can minimize everything in Floyd's career so its unlikely they will respond that way.

I posted it simply to refute what GOD FR33 posted regarding where Floyd will be ranked relative to Manny. Yes, Manny did win FOTD.
You make it sound like the ring list is the bible. That list doesn't make or break a boxers legacy. Most folks have never heard of it but you hold it in your pocket whenever a Pacman vs. Floyd debate goes down like now since your idol is ranked ahead of pac.

damn, son, you really are not a boxing fan.

ahh edit the post and play the "Floyd's your idol" card. what a great fan of the sport you are.

                • The more I think about it, Floyd might not stand much of a chance against Khan right now. Looks like he's on the decline - the Maidana rematch didn't go to plan and he didn't look as extraordinary as he once did in the past. Floyd will avoid Khan like his life depends on it.

So you have to read a magazine to be a fan? Lol. I don't read basketball or football magazines so I'm not a fan? Weak.

                    • No.........

No. It is quite evident that Manny isn't on roids. I don't think he ever was. Floyd started that ignorance out of fear. How can Manny stop Hoya, but I couldn't? How could Manny stop Cotto? How did Manny KO Hatton? Hatton was his size and ******, that's why? If you come at Manny, he ****s you up and everyone knows this. He was on his way to KO'ing Roidquez with that in his system. In the 3rd fight, Manny came to spar and outpoint Roidquez, which he did. In the 4th fight, he came for blood. So in conclusion, of course Manny can KO Roidquez. Roidquez is smart and stays away, just like every other Manny opponent. And so would Floyd if they ever fight. Once he feels the speed and power of Manny, despite being bigger, he will go backwards!
