Andre Dirrel is a talented fighter but there's something mentally keeping him from a being as good as he can be. It's easy for him to win these types of fights but as soon as he gets back to the top and face a true contender I'm sure he'll wilt. I don't think he's Zab Judah challenged but he's close.Comment

Shoulda been a standing 8 - his glove touched the canvas...
either way, good win for Andre. He might as well keep fighting bums and get some checks because:
1. He's not gonna fight his brother
2. He's not gonna rematch Abraham in Germany
3. He's not gonna fight Andre Ward
He MIGHT get a Froch rematch but Haymon would have to pay him at least $6 - $8 million to come to Vegas.Last edited by Mike Haynes; 10-09-2014, 02:00 PM.Comment

Brinson (a MW) was schooling Dirrel big time in rounds 2 and 3... snapped his head back at the end of 3. And if the ref had given Brinson a standing 8 when his glove touched the canvas, who knows how it would've went.
As for BJ Flores, he looked tentative at best. And was dropped hard the round before he stopped Engel. Too bad the 'reporter' Cliff 'Roids (brother of Hem) didn't mention that. Guess you had to be there eh? (I was) HA!Comment
