    Dirrell fought a feather-fisted middleweight.

I know Dirrell is skilled but you were impressed? The outclassed and smaller opponent landed too much on Dre in so few rounds. Dirrell still needs to be managed with care and doesn't look ready for good competition.

That fight isn't going to happen.

I agree but who is Dirrell going to fight?

          An. Dirrell - WBC champ
          Ward - WBA champ
          Froch - IBF champ
          Abraham - WBO champ

maybe he'll just continue to crush cans for Haymon money.

He is still working his way back against lesser foes. But the skills he flashed are real, they are the same ones that gave prime Carl Froch such a hard time.

He just needs to stay busy and regain his sharpness. If he does then it won't be long before he is making noise again at the world class level.

Dirrell should have a number of good years left, he is reliant on athleticism but he is young for his age while also being big and rangy which he knows how to use.

He would still present a lot of challenges to Ward if he can get back close to what he was, it would probably be a pretty tactical fight but it would be a lot different than what anyone else could bring to the table against Ward.

Andre Dirrell still has it, I just hope he doesn't screw this up and takes a solid fight next year. Hopefully he'll get a rematch against Arthur Abraham.

Arthur Abraham vs. Andre Dirrell II
                Anthony Dirrell vs. George Groves

                That's a hell of a card.

Hey, stop crashing the celebration with true insignificant details!

Dirrell is almost back baby! 10 or so more tune up fights and Froch or Abraham about to be Kod.

It wasn't a particularly good performance, but he did what he had to.

I'd like to see a near-prime Andre Dirrell in the title picture.
