I'm glad that Abner decided to go back to his old trainer because I felt that Hunter's style didn't suit him. Looking forward to seeing Abner inside the ring again soon and I look forward to watching him avenge his loss to Johnny.

So Enzo Calzaghe isn't overrated to you? He trained his son from scratch and led him to an undefeated career.

I think Hunter knows his stuff but he tries to make what worked for Andre Ward work for other fighters. Angulo is never going to be an effective boxer like Ward, but that hit-and-clinch style works for Khan. He needs to take fighters and tune up their pre-existing fight styles instead of trying to hammer in a new one.

Also needs to stop whispering and stirring up **** with baseless rumors.

I also think the styles of the fighters are important as to which trainer is the best fit. The late great Emmuneul Stewart worked wonders with tall fighters, Tommy Hearns, WK, etc. Fighter who would benefit from using the jab and right cross. I think Abner Mares And Freedie The joke coach Roach would be a good fit. Freddie does well with fighters whom defense is not their first priority.

Berto left him as well. They noticed he was a product of Ward, not viceversa.

Great move by Mares. He should hire Freddy Roach to train him.

Come on, Hunter hasn't exactly done much with all these fighters who take him on. He has a reputation based off Ward and nothing else.

Yup, Ward should kick him to the curb too. Ward's only with him because he's the only known trainer in northern Cali.

We'll see where being "comfortable" gets him.

Hunter does not have a great history record other than Ward!

Angulo was demolished ever since he move to Hunter's camp and just wait to what's going to happen to Khan!
