And he shouldn't. Cotto is the A-side here. He dictates terms.

Can Canelo bring a crowd outside of TX, CA, or LV, and being that the MGM would be the only legit choice for a fight of this magnitude the May date is off the table, Floyd works hand and hand with the MGM and bring 100 of millions to the LV economy come fight time, no way they go against him.............................

Salute Cotto for not being a pawn in Oscars and Cotto's game, if team Canelo wants the fight he wants more than the 12-15 mil off top guaranteed...........Boss moves, masterful, nothing more to say.....................

Canelo was going to fight in December, but withdrew on Monday with an ankle injury. On Tuesday, Canelo's manager Edison Reynoso said their focus is a securing a major fight in the month of May, Cinco De Mayo weekend, and Cotto was their main target.

I'm a Cotto diehard (no ****), but this is 50/50 fight down the middle. I will base my prediction on who wins the fight on LOCATION. If the fight takes place in MSG, Cotto wins. If in MGM, Canelo. We all know Cotto has a curse in Las Vegas. His best chances of winning are in MSG. In Texas even worst. There needs to be a neutral venue with a very neutral selection of judges.

Lara nearly beat Canelo throwing 10 punches a round what makes people think Cotto cant replicate that........................
