I'm not sure how Algieri's tax situation works with him fighting in Macau.

But the question was, "Do THEY pay taxes to the USA for this fight purse?" Pacquiao doesn't have to pay taxes to the USA for this fight. He'll be paying taxes to the BIR.

        **** me that's my dream..

Do what Algieri did, get a win over a champion & land a huge fight where you're set for life. And considering he has a slight chance @ an upset, then damn.

The math suggests that Algieri is earning 4.25
U make up math and then base a theory on it. That's why ur wrong. U don't get paid for the same fight twice. Arum is the big promoter of the fight. He splits the pot with Algieris promoter and from that split that his promoter gets, Algieri gets paid. It's simple. Arum doesn't pay Algieri and his promoter. That doesn't make sense. Your problem is u clearly don't understand how the pay structure in this type of even goes.

Sorry. But you lost credibility when you spoke on the tax issue.

wtf are u talking about? One has zero to do with the other. And as a US citizen Algieri will still have to pay taxes even on a fight overseas. What's wrong with u. U like giving out false information or something.

ww fighters choose to fight fraud jr not because they will earn more money but because it's less dangerous fighting a featherfisted over hyped fighter.

OK. Then break it down please. My estimates for Algieri's purse are based on the figures Arum and Deguardia said they'd be paying him.

If Arum said 2.75, then please break down how DeGuardia's guarantee to Algieri is 1.5 million. You've obviously been recipient of professional fight prizes. I would really like to learn more details on how it works. Particularly how DeGuardia's guarantee to Algieri's is 1.5 million in relation to Arum's 2.75 claim. Thanks

I just explained it to u. Joe DiGuardia pays his fighter from the split given to him by arum, whose the big promoter of record. Algieri is not getting paid twice. And it's not arum's job to pay him. Fighters get paid by their promoters. I dunno why this is news to u. U follow boxing don't u?
