Something about that green belt with Mexican fighters. GGG holds 2 titles but Rubio said a win here puts me in line for a shot at Cotto for the WBC belt - lol

go ask lemieux or spada ... rubio has fought better opposition than ggg... that doesnt make him favorite but he deserves some respect...

I agree with this. Rubio is a solid fighter and one of the better inside fighters at 160, hopefully we get to see more of Gennadys arsenal.

I noticed MrChokeOnD*cks posts, he's just bitter for some reason

Rubio is no slouch, but his heart and determination only gets him so far.. He is a c+ / B- fighter. If you don't train or prepare he will shock you. His talent is under rated, he can box, but he can also punch. I think Robert Garcia in his corner will mean more in this fight. A lot of times fighters need these big name trainers to help them out mentally. My thing is, GGG has not had to dig deep, make adjustments, or go some hard rounds - not sure if Rubio can put check marks in all 3 category's, but I hope he can at least place a check mark in one.

                  Go for broke?
What else is he suppose to do? He isn't going to outbox GGG. His only option is to go for broke and test just how strong GGG really is.

Exactly my thoughts....he will freeze up and quit just like he did against Pavlik.
