You are certainly free to believe in a Hopkins curse if you wish. I am not superstitious and don't believe there is any Hopkins curse. He is just a damn good fighter. Pavlic was a fucup long before Hopkins and I don't see how Hopkins can be blamed for Calzaghe having problems after he retired. It's common for great fighters to have a hard time dealing with retirement. Dawson's troubles started with Ward, not Hopkins and Taylor went down hill from multiple KO loses to Pavlic, Froch and Abraham. I think Kovalev will beat Hopkins and go on to be better than ever.
