Kovalev didn't say anything. Negro is not an offensive term outside of America. It's how they identify a black person, we use African American here. The way he used it was of the social norm. Plus a serial racist wouldn't have a black trainer, you know, the very guy who you put all of your faith into while fighting for your life.

From the videos, seems that someone (or likely a bunch of people) have been talking a lot of mess to him. We all know how people turn their backs on you when your star fades. He's clearly having a hard time dealing with it and it's sending him off of the deep end.
