You guys are so dumb smh. No. Floyd Mayweather Jr IS NOT an option for Miguel Cottto. It's clear the Puerto Rican is currently on some kind of deal with Bob Arum and HBO. You want proof? Oscar De La Hoya going to Bob Arum to negotiate Canelo/Cotto. Just cut it out already, Floyd/Cotto II is not going to happen.

Either way, last time they fought the contract was signed in less than 10 days after Cotto left TR and became a Free Agent.

Cotto undoubtedly makes more dough against Floyd than Cinammon, Cinammon and ODLH will want a good fair share of the money that fight generates, and Cotto will laugh and think they are out their mind because Cinammon is really a nobody right now in the PPV game.

Let's have Floyd vs Cotto with all 3 weight class belts on the line lmfao
They could do it at 154 for 2 titles so both guys are comfortable at the weight.

Cotto is his own boss and I think he will go where he gets the most $. Canelo better offer a 70/30 split because he can not do any serious numbers without him or Pac on HBO.

"Cotto is his own boss", do you even read the sht you write? No Cotto is not his own boss, if Miguel was his own boss Oscat would not be reaching out to BOB ARUM to make Canelo/Cotto. Just stop already guys Floyd Cotto II is not happening.

Of course he is fighting Amir Khan. A long shot would be Keith Thurman if they match him up with someone relevant like Devon and he wins. Doubt that happens though.

Wheter negatively or postively, the Floyd/Khan matchup has been talked about for years now. All Khan has to do is beat whoever Al puts in front of him in december and it's on in May.

He'll make the right decision at the right time for him. I'm still not 100% convinced Canelo is next.

Everyone seems to think it is next. Everyone seems to think it will happen next. I don't. If it was going to happen. It would have been signed sealed and delivered a while ago. What If Arum has some scheme he is up to. What if he is just using De La Hoya. Arum is a snake. I believe he plans to milk as much money out of Cotto as he did for Poochiao LOL Poochiao, but Cotto cannot generate as much money as Manny Poochiao. LOL Poochiao.

i think cotto is going after mayweather for may arum and oscar are tring to get canelo in the way. plus arum does not have a contract with cotto, cotto uses him to rpmote his fight just like if he wants he could get oscar to promote his fight he is a free agent.my opinion i think cotto is waiting on floyd he could fight canelo anytime in the year or next year. and its a fight that makes most sense right now other than floyd vs pac. how will cotto do with freddie in his coner, how will floyd handle 160pds how will mayweather sr and freddie get in to it etc..... plus cotto has been mayweather thoughts opponet yet said by his own words!!

It's not just about being Rican its about giving due respect. if the roles were swapped, i'd be in favor of Canelo dictating terms and getting the dates that are special and important to him...frankly, he hasnt done anything to warrant the dictating of any terms whatsoever especially against a battle tested and proven veteran....nothing more nothing less

and by the way espinoza bashing cottos ppv numbers in twitter it only means one thing, he knows cotto wont be fighting for them anytime soon... even know cotto is a free agent when it comes to promoters, i got a feeling he has a contract with hbo and that is the reason canelo signed for them....
Indeed we will see but just know that Money will do whatever it takes to frustrate Canelo plans mainly due to his obvious disdain for the Golden boy...
