You're funny dude. Barthelemy gets a lame victory on Showtime calls out Mikey Garcia just last night and Garcia is already a coward for not immediately accepting the challenge?

Why don't you criticize the fact Barthelemy had a guy in front of him with 0 KO power and he managed to put us all to sleep with a pitiful performance.

But you fail to realize that your cuban guys do the exact same thing. Barthelemy isn't calling out Mikey Garcia for any other reason than because he see's him as a big paycheck. Barthelemy isn't calling out Uchiyama who's the lineal champ in that division. He isn't calling out Miura, Thompson Burgos, or any other guy in the division. He isn't saying he wants to move up and fight Crawford, or Bey. He calls out Mikey Garcia because he wants to make money, and he believes Garcia would make him money.

Again this is professional boxing, not the amateurs. Cubans have not won their place because they have failed to understand this one difference.

A good example of knowing the difference between the two is Puerto Rican fighters. Puerto Rico, your Caribbean neighbor and one of Mexico's biggest rivals. They have an outstanding amateur program and constantly develop great amateur talent. However once these guys hit the pro's they know that they have to put on entertaining fights.

Look at Miguel Cotto. When he became pro he could have easily just box his way to boring UD's at 140. Instead he chose to go toe to toe and bring us some of the most entertaining fights during his reign at 140. The guy understood there was a difference between fighting professionally and when he was fighting in the Sydney Olympics. In doing this he developed a following that went beyond just PR fans. You don't really believe he's the 3rd highest draw in boxing based only on PR fans do you? The guy learned English and worked hard to gain an audience.

Until your Cuban boys learn this, you're always going to be in here complaining about someone not wanting to fight your guys.

And again why is it that when Mexican fighters want to fight for money they're cowards for not wanting to fight your Cuban fighters, but it's OK for Cuban fighters to look for money fights?
Why isn't Barthelemy calling out Burgos, Thompson, Miura, Uchiyama? Why isn't he saying he'd move up 5lbs and fight Crawford, Bey or Vasquez?
Could it be he wants Mikey Garcia because of the $$$??
