And why didn't Floyd offer 50/50 in the 2nd negotiations and instead offered $40 million with no PPV buys?

Like I said before, Floyd has more to lose in this fight and has more of the reasons to avoid Pacquiao than Pacquiao avoiding Floyd. Please use your brain.
What are you talking about? That's not how business is done? Arum took the contract to Manny in the Philippines!

My guess is that Schaefer doesn't want to admit that they ever believed Pac was worth 50/50. And in the same article, Shaefer explains why they didn't offer 50/50 after that point - because things change and it was clear Pac wasn't worth 50/50.

Once again, Yahoo sports reported that they retrieved the document. So unless they drafted the document themselves for some odd reason.....

        You guys are crazy

Pacquiao is less than 2 months away from a major PPV fight with at least $20 million guaranteed and yall want him to drop 50 in a preseason basketball game?

At least Pacquiao had the balls to step on the court and score. And he wasn't playing scrubs at the park or your local gym. He was playing in the highest level in his country.

Which american boxer would score in a NBA preseason game? The most likely one would probably be Wilder but hes only 6'7" which is short in the NBA and I've never seen him shoot. I've seen Pac pull up from 30 nutthin but net

They weren't excuses not to have the fight?
1.Taking blood close to the fight make me weak? That wasn't an excuse when now we know it turned out to be a lie?
            2. Can't take the tesst within 30 days?
            3. Cut needs 6 month to heal?
            4. Stadium needs to be built?
            5. Arum doesn't know who to call?

Really? Please tell me YOU are not this slow!

I am using my brain and my ears and eyes too. You want to believe your OPINION, yet FREDDIE ROACH himself, someone who has no reason to admit it, says that it WAS THEIR FAULT! He knows more about the situation than you do and he represents Pac. By the way, go back and look, there were LOTS of excuses from Pac's side. Why are you ignoring those and concentrating just on the things Floyd said?
Like you said, Floyd failed the weight vs Marquez, that's already a good argument to bring up, thanks.

            1. There's a lot of people scared of needles and find it uncomfortable. That wasn't an excuse, that was just a concern beforehand.

            2. Pacquiao wanted 24 days, Floyd wanted 14 days, please get educated. 14 days would impede Pacquiao's training because like he says, he has a fear of needles. 2 weeks prior to fight day is the most crucial training time.

            3. The cut was doctor's order, nor was it an excuse, they never said, "Oh we can't fight, we have a cut to heal for 6 months" They just said they had had a cut and would take 6 months to heal.

            4. Stadium needing to be built was the Cowboys venue to be made into a boxing arena with more seats. Pacquiao fought Clottey and Margarito in the Cowboys stadium. Did Arum say, "Oh we need to build a stadium which may take 4 years to complete"? No he didn't. That's not an excuse.

            5. Floyd changed his number (Probably), IDK where that came from anyway

As for Roach, well, it doesn't mean it's all Pacquiao's fault, he reiterated in the video it was both guy's fault. The man has a illness, I'm sure you're happy you can take advantage of that though.

And there's a video of Floyd in his own mouth, own words saying he is scared for his health and life, "Cotto can't knock down Mosley but he can? Come on now, it doesn't make any sense."

                  2. Why would he offer him 50/50 again when Floyd had proven to be the much larger draw?
                  1. Floyd said it was the highest he's ever made. He didn't talk about any PPV buys. And actually, Pacquiao's camp counter offered with $50 million and whomever wins gets 55% of the PPV while the loser gets 45%. But Floyd rejected that.

                  http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/2/1/...-5-boxing-news

                  2. How is Floyd more of the draw? From 2009-2001 (The $40 million offer), Pacquiao fought and won 5-6 times, with a few opponents he beat more impressively than Floyd did. He won a few belts. From 2009-2011, Floyd got off in and out retirement, fought only 2-3 times, with a cheap KO victory from Victor Ortiz.

Can you explain to me why Floyd deserves $120 million guaranteed while Pacquiao gets only $40 million flat fee nothing else, from the span of 2009-2011 for the 2011 negotiations?

Like I said before, Floyd just got off retirement, dropped from p4p. Things changed because they changed their mind about fighting Pacquiao. You can't sell an item and once the buyer agrees then change the price. You have to be a bit more educated buddy. The document, once again, was from a lawyer, who made it without much talk with GDP themselves.

Pacquiao is not even good at basketball. He just wants to play professional basketball. In fairness to MP he only played limited minutes. His Kia would have the worst record in the PBA. And they are gonna win the number 1 pick next season.

                      Smart move from Team MP.
