He has faced Trout, Lara, Angulo, and Mayweather. He completely dominated El Perro Angulo. Hes about to face Clottey (which is a keep busy fight) and will most likely face Cotto next year. Win or lose that fight, he is still very young (24) and there are still alot of worthy challenges to come. so tell me, what does Alvarez have to do to gain your so admired approval?

My approval? He has it. He's a good young fighter. But he's accomplished nothing that's awe inspiring. When boxing history is full of guys like Salvador sanchez, Wilfred Benitez, Mike Tyson, Manny pacquiao, Floyd mayweather and even guys right now like Roman Gonzalez who have looked absolutely amazing from jump and have actually dominated top guys when vein barely out their teens. I tell me, what makes Canelo so special? I know he's a red headed white skinned Mexican. His accomplishments are totally eclipsed by the hype that has yet to be fulfilled. And the way he talks u would think he's the #1 guy in his division. Hah!

I agree that Canelo does NOT have the skills Mayweather does and probably never will. But what makes him the front runner is that he doesnt shy away from a challenge and he is still very young. Im sure alot of boxers would kill to be in the position Canelo is in right now. Im sure Mayweather himself would have wanted to be in the same spot Canelo is in right now.

Which is why I've said multiple times at best, Canelo will be a poorman's version of what DLH was.

You know, Canelo could have took the route of carefully picking and choosing fights that would make him look good in the ring, and forever be called a coward, fraud, b1txh, ***** outside of the ring like some other fighters we know.

I'm glad he challenged himself. He earned the respect of the people. And that's what it takes. People arent tuning into his PPV to see him hopefully get KTFO.

According to PPV numbers and revenue, those EBT card totin' brothaz that you claim support Floyd are willing to shell out $75 to watch him fight. But those taco eat'n muf.uckaz that support Nelo will show up at a free event, but won't pay to see him fight.

Rodriguez Jr. vs. Takayama card - 9,000 attendance

Garcia vs. Salka card - 7,000 attendance

September 6th:

Estrada vs. Segura card - 22,000 attendance

Broner vs. Taylor - 8,115 attendance

I think the taco eaters pay to see their guys fight.

The casual Mexican-Americans drive the PPV sales IMO. There's Mexicans that live more like the lifestyle in Mexico. Those are the hardcore fans that bought Canelo vs. Angulo and Canelo vs. Lara. Then there's the Mexican-Americans who are more assimilated to the American lifestyle. Those are the casual boxing fans that drive a Mayweather vs. Canelo type fight to 2.2M PPVs.

You're entitled to your opinion that black Americans drive PPV sales though.

Floyd haf nothing to do with the lack of exchanges. He stood right in front of the boy and whooped his ass. You have to have two guys landing to exchange. Floyd did his part.

I don't have an opinion cause I don't give a f.uck. I ordered Canelo's last PPV and didn't order Floyd's. I pay for fights I deem worthy of my disposable income. Everything else is irrelevant to me.
