You obviously didn't see what happened when the De La Hoyas, Trinidad's, Quartey, Mosleys all fought each other. That was a very good era and they were all in their prime. The majority of all those fights were extremely close.

Some of y'all act like you've never seen this before. Canelo /Lara could fight 10 times and it would always be very close.

Just like almost all Pacquiao/Marquez fights.

When you put two top biters against each other, majority of the time you're going to get a close fight .

Canelo is still young in his career, and has a long way to go. Stop trying to define his legacy before it has even started.

At least he has the balls to take on the toughrisky fights no matter what, unlike a lot of fighters that like the Dodge each other and take the path of least resistance.
Yea that is why a true superstar will look impressive in those situations~ because most don't. Canelo has so much to prove at the top end of the sport and eeking out wins is not going to impress after people saw him get absolutely clowned.

The American audience know real stars because we have seen the best before~

You know why Manny is a superstar he killed guy other guys had a ton of trouble with, know why Floyd is a huge star because he makes guys that give other guys problem look like clueless hacks in the ring. Canelo has nothing like that on his dossier and every time he has stepped up he has looked meh even in victory, those are not star making performances and everyone of those he has he has to work twice as hard to erase the memory of.

Canelo's star power is in the red since he stepped onto the big stage~ and he needs big performances to get back to even yet alone in the black.

Marquez knows he's nothing more than a high-priced punching bag for an explosive puncher like Canelo. This isn't Welterweight, this isn't 2007, and this isn't Mundine.

Clottey will suffer a savage, one sided, beating. That may go the distance as an testament to Clottey's toughness.

This is a meaningless, stay busy, fight.

LOL@ glorified sparring matches being called FIGHTS. We already knew Floyd was a good points scorer. You're turn.

I would say coming to fight means coming to win~ if you can't win a fight with the other guy trying their hardest to stop you what is the point of the contest?

If someone is not good enough to make a guy fight that is not the other guys problem for the other guy not being good enough.

That's great, Floyd is a great winner. No shame in losing to a that is notorious for not taking one single risk. End of that story.

Canelo wasn't clowned and every CASUAL FAN i had watching the fight here which was about 20 were disgusted withe way Lara stunk that fight up and blatantly ran all night.

Like I said he is at the beginning of a long career, and as young as he is, he's fighting guys everyone else chooses to avoid or in Floyds situation chosses to just not fight when they are at there best.

Give him a few years before you try and lable his career before it has even started. You act as if were talkiing like his career is over.

I'm a Pac fan but I remember him have extremely close fights with Morales,Barerra, and Marquez. Floyd chooses to fight them on the end of there casreers or conveniantly retires when the division is at it's best and miraculously returns when they have all cleaned each other out or have been in wars that they will never be the same ala Cotto after the Manny, Margarito destructions ( I know Cotto was cheated byMargarito disgrace).

Cotto also one of my favorite fighters been a lot of close wars, but he never backed down from anyone or strategically fought them after there best. Cotto has made a career of being a warrior and that is why he is so beloved,no matter what his record is because record is not the most importabt if you challenge yourself and fight all the best.

All I'm sayin is give Canelo a few years before you decide to LABEL hi entire career. Once again at least he has the BALLS to step up and fight the guys the ans wanna see regardless if it's risky or not, and thats why fans will love him mnuch like Cotto, not weather he's undefeated or not because that is not what fans and boxing pundits care about. They care about defining your legacy rather than protecting it.

Floyd stood right in front of Canelo and landed a high percentage of punches. If ya boy could have actually LANDED some punches. Maybe you would have seen some exchanges. Is it Floyd's fault Canelo couldn't land? I know, he should have hone Ricardo Mayorga, dropped his hands, and let Ginger hit him right

Yeah, obviously it Floyd's fault Canelo didnt land punches. If you can't grasp that, then you're a dumber b1tch than initially expected.
