Marquez doesn't lose to Brook, it just doesn't happen. Again, Brook has the style but he doesn't have the head/ upperbody movement of Bradley or Mayweather, neither does he have the foot speed of those two. I think he's too stiff on top to deal with Marquez, Marquez will land and it's only a matter of time before Brook starts breaking down. I think Brook will survive, tie up the smaller man but lose a decision.

Marquez will be hard-pressed to beat any top 10 contender at 147 besides PAC.

Alvarado does not count as a contender at 147. Alvarado was recovering from a beat down from Provo and needed to get confidence back in the ring.

JMM needs to fight Khan. And the winner should fight Brook after he recovers from his injury.

He'll probably stop eyeing him when he realises that Brook will demand extra testing

Dude, Brook would destroy Marquez. And I'm a man that respects Marquez and everything he's done in the sport.

I've seen nothing to suggest it, Brook shocked me against Porter too but no, he ain't beating Marquez. You need to be able to move your head and upper body well to deal with Marquez's precision, you need to be quick on your feet. While Brook is no slouch he hasn't shown that he possess enough of that to beat Marquez IN ANY FIGHT.

He was lifting, he was ripped to shreds with no drug testing in place. Marquez fans are in denial about all those at ringside said JMM was noticeably enhanced in his physique, chest and back broke out with acne. Despite ALL of that, Marquez face was a bloody mess and had just been knocked down in the 5th. He was behind on all scorecards, Marquez was physically out of gas in the 5th, despite all that hard core training. He was fading in the sixth, was losing that round and everybody as well as Pacquiao were getting the sense that Pacquiao was ready to close the fight out shortly, when manny got careless and caught with no time on the clock left in the 6th; that happens. The Marquez fans only want to hear about the KO punch. They are in denial their pee drinking Mexicali legend was on the verge of getting stopped. You can't ignore the rat of the fight. Your boy was beaten like a dog, when he won the lottery. That is so true, he and Nacho both want no part of one more fight to prove it wasn't a fluke; they and everyone else knows in their hearts, Marquez gets stopped in a 5th, but those same fans all say "Marquez has nothing to prove".. "Nobody wants to watch a 5th fight".. LOL!!! Pacquiao has been calling out Marquez everyday since the 4th fight; why is it Manny has the ballz to do it again, but Marquez is all crickets.

Funny how Nacho says they will take off the rest of 2014 and look to do something in 2015, but in two weeks Marquez will be back into the gym to train and stay in shape... In Mexico.... Which means he'll be back lifting, and cycling thru the juice, with time to cleanse his system and get testosterone back to normal levels before he fights again. Maybe they can go test Marquez now while he's lifting!
Bi$ches like you crack me up. You sound like a little hooker that just got embarrassed by her pimp. Just relax and don't get so worked up over you fanboyism Freddy Roach!!!!!

I'll hit you up if it happens. Marquez is an opportunist, I know what he's seeing in Brook.

I believe Brook uses the same type of educated jab that Bradley used and boxes from the outside and wins a comfortable decision against the aging JMM.When a fighter doesnt give JMM counter opportunities, JMM loses. Bradley was eerily similar to Freddie Norwood who posed JMM problems and I though Brook is not similar to those guys, he has that snap on his jab that neutralizes JMM for the most part. I'm still impressed by how Brook showed so many things in his last fight that I had not seen. He was in his element against Porter and impressed the boxing world with a full arsenal of skills.

See, but Porter and JMM are completely different fighters, people are on here saying that Brook beats Marquez based off his performance against Porter. Marquez is a well schooled boxer/strategist with fluid combination punching and accurate counters. Porter is a wild fighter who uses his strength and athleticism to bully fighters, with very little thinking involved. I just see no relation in Brook-Porter and a Brook-Marquez fight.
