this will probably be a fight decided by one or two rounds. I like Povetkin to get a decision at home, earned or no.

That lady in you dp is ****ing smoking!

      So, uh, anyway..

The main thought here seems to be that Takam will likely do enough to win but will get ripped off in Russia?

      That would really suck!

Anyone bold enough to assert a Takam victory before Friday?

        Alexander Povetkin 27-1
        Carlos Takam 30-1-1

Povetkin overall faced better class of opponent but Takam has fought very decent level as well including notable KO's over Grant and Botha and decision over Thompson. The draw with Perez SHOULD have been an easy UD win for Takam as well!

Povetkins loss to Wladimir is far more excusable than the Gregory loss for Takam though. It's hard to imagine Takam struggling with CW Huck though!
Yeah, it would have been notable if it were 1999. Both of those fighters should be retired. They do nothing for anyone's resume now.

I can't recall any boxer being robbed of a deserved win in Russia.

Yeah I'm not aware of any Russian robberies yet either tbh.

Yes it's obvious those 2 you highlighted are well past their best, but they are still heavy and experienced boxers. In usually takes a good fighter to beat that combination, not just any journeyman.

And then there's the Perez fight that Takam should have won, don't tell me Mike is not relevant either!?

And his win over Thompson? Sure, he is also ageing too but again, Thompson is still a gate keeper HW and has put a stop to many a prospect (like hype job joke Price!) Again, very good win!

Nice card. I think Povetkin will earn a decisive victory.
