he could have fought espinosa, morales or marquez. winning one of those fights could made him hof easy. barrera makes hamed look silly. just a lot of wasted movement and pea**** posturing in there.

Don't feel strongly about him being inducted into the IBHOF given how little credence I place upon that organisation, but they've got no real credible reason not to induct him into it. They've clearly established that an inductee does not require truly great, outstanding merits to warrant induction, and Hamed's fame, notoriety and the overall influence that he had (particularly among the many, many boxers that have cited him as an inspiration/influence in some way or another) is irrefutable.

I'm far from a Hamed fan. But the boxing HOF is a joke. If Arturo Gatti and Rocky flip'n Balboa are HOF's, Prince should have been first ballot.

I think it depends on what we mean by HOF! for excample I do see Arturo Gatti as a Hall of FAMEr but not as a Hall of GREATest!!!

as for Hamed i think he should surely be a Hall of Famer ... the attention he brought to the Feather weight division, being the first Feather weight to make a million dollar payday and his legendary power. He is sure on the top 3 hardest punchers in feather wiegh history (pacqiuao seems to have a better punch as a feather weigh but that is Power + Speed ... but on a pure power Hamed hits harder i think).

Stallone is in a Wing of the Hall as a contributor, not a fighter. You must be a special breed. "Rocky" was just as influential in the popularity of boxing in the modern times as any fighter of note

I was a big Naz fan as he was starting to get on TV in Britain and he was hilarious but he was around in a lull period just before the division got really strong and beat fading titlists, he was one of the all-time personalities but he doesnt quite eat at the top table imo
