Why do you guys act like the fighters themselves are the matchmakers?

your hero is a coward princess, jose.sooto. floyd has already made it clear many many many times that he doesn't want a pac fight. i don't know why you support a coward like floyd rather than warriors like pacquiao.

A few (- a very few) fighters have a real degree of control who they fight. Most fighters either don't have a choice or actually do simply prefer merely to focus on preparation and fighting and would rather leave opponent selection to someone else.

On boxing forums though it's useful to act as if the fighters rather than managers or promoters have the say because it makes it easier for the various cliques to antagonise each other by making personal comments about the fighters of the opposing 'tards. Ducking. Coward. Scared. etc.

If we were to acknowledge that it's generally not the actual fighters' fault then it'd just spoil everyone's fun here on NSB. Where would we be without the endlessly repetitive garbage filled hate threads between Tards and Haters of every stripe?

For how long are Paquiao fans are going to run with the "He can't read" joke? Oh wait, for as long as the Mayweather fans joke about Manny's KO! Both sides of "fans" are pathetic!!!!

But yes, most guys don't get much of say while others do. And there have been many examples of fighters turning down fights that their own promoter is willing to make.
floyd is his own boss (according to him) ergo he is the matchmaker (?)
