Fair call. I wasn't sure - I thought it was possible Warren might take the chance, cos (with a little home cooking) I figured it's about as good a chance as Saunders would ever get at a title.

That said I just rewatched Saunders vs Ryder and understood that Saunders has no chance against Korobov, even with Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver and Marco Piere White judging - no chance at all...

If Uzcategui can have some success against Korobov,i'm pretty sure Lee and Saunders can have some success,Saunders especially.

I agree. Lee really has little more chance than Saunders.

The weird thing is that Korobov just isn't that good. Yeah, I think he belongs in the top ten, maybe the top 5, but whilst I think he's a tough opponent for anyone he's also quite beatable.

Risk / Reward? Well, OK there's not a big payday in fighting Korobov - the title's supposed to be the reward, but these guys are treating the 160 strap like it's been dipped in dog diarrhoea.

Anyone fairly decent can have some success against Korobov cos he only boxes 2 rounds out of every 3, that's why I thought Warren might chance it on home turf, but well... AFAIK there's nothing official yet, but it's sounding less likely.

Warren will definitely get the fight in England. His relationship with the WBO is somewhat like a married couple who have been together for 50 years. His recent interviews have already stressed that. He's always harping on about Mr Hearn sending his fighters abroad for tuppence and no hope of winning.

Looks like Korobov is about to become a world champion. Lee has a punchers chance, as he showed against Jackson, but that's about it.

As pedestrian as Korobov has looked recently he's still far more skilled than Lee.
