definitely roman gonzalez. his win against yaegashi is the best win of this decade so far. hard to find a greater win than that.

Honorable mention to Estrada who demolished Segura who had recently been destroying opposition.
Again, Juan Francisco Estrada is THE champ of 112. He beat THE man (Viloria) to be THE man.

viloria wasn't the man at all. viloria was an overrated hype job paper champ who got exposed. akira yaegashi was the absolute man without a doubt and is a future hof'er and gonzalez steam rolled through him like he was some journeyman.

akira yaegashi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> viloria hype job

For this month I would pick Orlando Salido due to the very entertaining fight he had against Kokietgym the other week which he won by knockout.

But if I were picking based on what was accomplished this month I would pick Roman Gonzalez for winning the Flyweight title against Akira Yaegashi which was also a great fight!

I would also consider Juan Francisco Estrada for that superb performance and stoppage win against Giovani Segura earlier this month.

            Chocolatito,
He dominated in a impressive fashion. Honestly dont know why you even have Floyd up there, he looked terrible, had all the advantages:Ring/Pillows/Ref, and the best he could is clinch his a$$ to a decision while getting his lights almost put out on the third. Pretty pathetic when compared to Roman, who went to his opponents backyard, completely dominated in impressive fashion for the title.

            Roman easily.

For me it's between Gonzalez, Estrada, and Drozd (whose impressive performance in winning the WBC title will be overlooked by many).

Lebedev (destroying a bigger and previously undefeated opponent) and Beterbiev (break-out performance with the WAY he won) deserve mention. Salido and Frampton also deserve mention. And we shouldn't forget another fine performance by Omar Narvaez against a young, hungry opponent.

I choose Beterbiev because I did think Gonzalez would win. I knew nothing about Beterbiev until he smoked Cloud. Caught me by surprise. But on name alone Gonzalez takes it, Bey didnt deserve the decision over Vazquez.

My top 3: Gonzalez, Drozd, Salido. It was a good month for the lighter divisions.

There was so many good performances in September, Beterbiev destroying Cloud, Salido's war with Kokietgym, Gonzalez running through Yaegashi, Frampton's excellent performance against Martinez, Estrada destroying Segura.
