Floyd's performance with all that clinching and running against an overmatched opponent (whom he demanded wear gloves with extra padding) was NOT impressive.

If you include wlad when he fights you should include Floyd.

It should be Roman Gonzalez by UD. He did beat the champ of his division in dominant fashion while fighting in his backyard. Sensational performance from Chocolatito.

Honorable mention to Estrada who demolished Segura who had recently been destroying opposition.

Yaegashi was THE champ of his division, and Roman Gonzalez crushed him. Way better than Bey getting a joke decision over Vazquez, who isn't the best fighter in his division.

Uh, I'm pretty sure Juan Francisco Estrada is THE champ of the division, . You have to beat THE champ to be THE champ. Estrada beat Brian Viloria for the W.B.A./W.B.O. titles on 4/6/13 to be THE champ, then followed up with wins over Milan Melindo, Richie Mepranum, and Giovani Segura. Yaegashi beat Toshiyuki Igarashi for the W.B.C. title on 4/8/13, then followed up with wins over Oscar Blanquet, Edgar Sosa, Odilon Zaleta, and the loss to Gonzalez.

Yaegashi didn't beat Estrada, so Gonzalez beating Yaegashi does not make him THE champ of the division. When Gonzalez beats Estrada at Flyweight then he can be labeled THE champ. Until then it's Estrada.
