Why are people surprised that he's not a household name in the UK? I'd be surprised if hes a household name in the US... he's not some ultra famous celebrity is he really, hes just an American celebrity, not a global one

Im not even from the US though...have been there only twice in my life actually. I was born in Europe for your interest.

And let me tell you something else...Federer is more well known that Djokovic. Actually so is Nadal and the Williams sisters too, prolly even Sharapova. And if you go back to the late 90's until mid 2000's you have names like Sampras, Agassi, Hewitt, Hingis, Rod****, etc.

Go on google and type the most frequently mentionned athletes on the web and you wont see Djokovic`s name before Mayweathers. Fact is most people who dont follow tennis dont know who he is either. And Murray is only a big name because hes UK`s favorite. Just like Ricky Hatton was before being knocked out by Floyd
