    Heh.

Opposite way around man. Theresa is physically abusive towards him and mistreats him all the time verbally.

He still loves her and despite him pulling a gun out...that was probably self defense.

        Yeah.

Supposedly....she got into a fight with him one time. She called one of her relatives, and his friend to come beat Johnny up. He put one guy in a coma, and broke the other guy's nose.

The perps tied him up in a chair.

They ****d his mom, and then stabbed her.

He said he pictured Pauly Ayala as the person who killed his mom...because he found out the guys name 2 days before their first fight.

He was robbed against Ayala....nobody on earth can tell me he lost those fights...because they're wrong.

Tapia is a great guy and should be considered a great. i hope he gets into the HOF but who knows how the rest of the boxing world feels about him.

when he used to live in vegas i'd run into him from time to time at the grocery by my house. he had a house about a mile or so from mine, but he would talk to people that came up to him and was very friendly.

i got to talk to him a couple of times for quite a bit, i never talked about his career or any of his fights, i never knew how he'd react, but he liked to talk about training and other fighters.

all in all a real good guy, he just has some serious demons haunting him.

                i wish him the best.

there wasn't many as exciting to watch as Johnny Tapia, he never had a dull fight, not that i've seen anyway...

Tapia is a good fighter, but not someone you can rank with the elites.
