Yeah it's a ****ty fight, no doubt, but what other options did he have? Kirkland priced himself out and Andrade was a high risk/very low reward, that could potentially be a spoiler with his style.

After the guys he's fought, he deserves a tune up, now if he has 6 tune ups in a row like Mayweather did back in his Sosa/Bruseles/N'dou, days then, yeah take out the pitchforks and torches.

Absolutely. And Clottey is no bum. People who critisize this fight must be haters.

Not easy to hit maybe! Hard to hit Clottey clean when all he does is cover up in his turtle shell defense. I dont see how he can give Canelo any problems though. In order for him to trouble Canelo he will have to come out of his shell which he seldom does.

BS...Alvarez wouldn't have taken the bout if he thought there was danger vs a guy that stands right in front of you...Clottey gets beat worse than Angullo...this can't b ppv, right...who would throw their hard $$ away on this crap???

A stay safe cherry pick like most fights throughout Canelo's career. They can't risk the future payday being ruined.

This definitely isn't a fight I'd like to see Canelo return to HBO with. But to be fair, Hershman does have a point-It's free. Maybe we should all just sit back and enjoy the show, for whatever it's worth.

Why do people keep on mentioning Angulo when listing the guys Canelo fought as if Angulo is part of some murder row?

Not easy because Clottey is tricky but its safe. I have no problem with the fight because there are much bigger fights ahead.

Agreed...this is pretty much the same thing ive posted before, but the most important part is that its FREEEEEEEEEEEEE, and in that case no one should be complaining!!!
