But i will say that this is a very weak lineal champ
It's a circumstantial thing. Abril's inactivity and the Bey-Vazquez mess made an opening. I didn't think Bey beat him but there were enough swing rounds to make a case. The Hoyle card has made that decision more debatable because you only had two cards worth taking serious. If Crawford sticks and makes a run, he can make something of it. If he moves up, it's a footnote.

Sorry but I can't consider Beltran the #2 fighter in the division. The only way the lineal title should be up for grabs is if the Crawford fights Vasquez.

I can't see how any credible ranking system can have Crawford #1 ( a ranking he just recently recieved by Transitional rankings after beating Gamboa, the same fighter who only had 1 fight in the division and that fight wasn't even between ranked lightweights.)

Sorry if I offend some people but I can't consider this fight between the best two lightweights, when Vasquez is clearly deserving of being ranked #1 and at worst #2.

Make it happen, and when Crawford gets through with Beltran, he can go get Bey. Cause bey said he was the best at 135. Not in this lifetime.

Loma was eating right hands ala Margarito vs Mosley!
