It's too early to make any assessments on Trey Morrison on his ability or potential but what I will say is that he has the "killer instinct" that his father possessed. He looks like he likes fighting and scoring the big KO

I'm guessing that he has limited, or no, amateur experience and his team is developing him in the pro ranks and in the gym. Best of luck to him, it's very difficult sport to master and to be in the top ranks - especially with limited experience and learning on the job - maybe he can make a go outa it

yea,,,,his dad had a very extensive amateur career and it showed in his early professional fights whereas his son looks very raw. also doesnt look like he's got near his dads strength and power but maybe he can improve and win a couple descent fights. who knows for sure

He just started boxing last year.

But it's the heavyweight division...a lot of heavyweights come to the sport late.

He's got a family name that may help him make some money in Oklahoma...it would be something if he ever made it much beyond that.

But there have been heavyweights that have gone from little to no amateur experience to have varying levels of success in the division.

Seen him fight a couple times, typical son boxer. Match him carefully and hope he learns along the way. If you want to see a good son boxer check out the son of Mike "the Bounty" Hunter.

              Lippe-Morrison's KO streak reaches five

By CHRISTIAN FAVALORA Special to the Times

MIAMI — Promoter Tony Holden said it from the first day of his young brawler's career, "He's gotta learn to stretch that fight out."

Trey Lippe-Morrison won his fifth professional boxing match Saturday night at Buffalo Run Casino, and he did it the only way he knows how - first round knockout.

Lippe-Morrison (5-0) knocked out Matt Foster of Topeka, Kan., 1:53 into the first round.

When he stepped into the ring, Lippe-Morrison knew about as much about Foster as he did about losing, which is to say not much. Foster was a late addition to the card but many expected him to be the hometown hero's biggest challenge.

And he was. Despite the sudden ending, Lippe-Morrison and his trainer Randy Rouse said Foster, who made his professional debut in the loss, didn't disappoint.

"It might have been quick, but he is probably, out of all my opponents, the one who boxed me the best," Lippe-Morrison said. "My very first fight, it did go to the second round, but if I knew what I was doing, that first fight wouldn't have made the second round."

He went down in the first but that was still my best challenge."

A left hook dazed Foster early into the fight. Lippe-Morrison, who weighed in at 223 pounds, said he saw it in Foster's eyes and went in with a wild combination.

Rouse said there will be plenty to work on in the coming days (a Nov. 15 return to the ring has been rumored), but that Lippe-Morrison is only getting better.

What can you expect with a total of 4 fights. People here saying "well it was against a can"... well what do you expect in extremely low amount of fights.
