Big credit to Bhop if he pulls this off, but Kovalev has 12 whole rounds worth of punching time. No defensive fighter can block everything. Even Mayweather was damaged by Mosley, Cotto, and Maidana.

This time there is a real possibility of Hopkins being stopped by the referee or knocked out.

I just don't see B-Hop getting KO'd he doesn't hit flush enough for that to happen.

You're one of the few who seems to know how this will play out

Yes. Hopkins knows all the illegal tricks, and never hesitates to use them.

And I'm fairly certain Kovalev will be cut by a deliberate head butt (which will be ruled accidental by a referee who favors Hopkins).

I have a feeling the referee will allow B-Hop to deliberately head butt and use other fouls, as was the case in Hopkins' fights with Cloud, Wright and in Dawson II. In B-Hop's first fight with Dawson, Hopkins should have been DQed for acting (he basically quit).

I can see judges bailing Hopkins out. In the second fight with Dawson, one judge had it 114-114 but Dawson was obviously faster throughout the fight and clearly won about 10 rounds.

Hopkins will win a close decision, MD or SD, after the fight is stopped between round 5 and round 10 because of a bad cut on Kovalev caused by a Hopkins head butt.

its a perfectly legitimate prediction. one i think is realistic. Kovalaev is known to cut easily. Hopkins fouls alot. I can see this being a no contest due to this high chance of cheating tactics by Hopkins.

                  I wouldn't at all.

In fact that is what is going to happen.
