But at least he wasn't taking a beating and he was up against the #3 P4P in his prime.

Now if that was against somebody like Rios, it'd be a different story.

Good point, maybe we'll be able to tell better after the Algieri fight.Which is no forgone conclusion imo.In that fight against Bradley he was throwing punches off balance and even when he was trying to set them up,he was again off balance.

When he had Bradley against the ropes when Pacquiao threw the huge punch combo, can't remember the rounds or how many punches it was it wasn't the Pac of old, they were most arm punches, nothing to them.

Meldrick Taylor the way he kept fighting is criminal act made by all promoters allowing to fight on their shows.

              Hatton vs Senchenko.

Not to make excuses for Hatton's loss, and I know at that point for Hatton it was quite clear that he was past prime and there where widespread expectations that he would not quite be the same after the Pacquiao massacre and his 2.5 year spiral downhill in his retirement...But watching that fight it is really obvious the man was finished as far as boxing was concerned. REALLY obvious.

Man, that is probably my first and last "emotional" night in boxing. Ricky was a guy I'd met a few times, I'd even watched him fight live a fair few times and when he lost to Floyd and Manny it was fair enough. And then he had to come back and I saw he was in shape and I half believed he could do it again. if even 60% of the old Ricky existed, he owuld have taken Senchenko apart but it wasn't to be and it broke a million hearts. That body shot could be felt around the Great British Isles.

Senchenko ended Hatton's career and a thousand dreams of a fairy tale.

Watching Jermain Taylor against Abraham was difficult for me.

Watching what happened against Pavlik was bad, then he got knocked around late by Carl, but watching him against Abraham and just waiting for him to be knocked out was difficult...the way he dropped was genuinely worrying.
