I agree with this and I'm also 100% sure that Chavez Sr would have beaten Floyd at lightweight, maybe welterweight too.
Robinson, Leonard and Chavez all lost during their careers, but their records are still incomparably better than Floyd's.
Tommy Hearns is another guy Floyd could not have coped with at any stage of his career at welterweight.Comment

He hasnt looked great against Maidana, but that could change in his next fight, and he could look a million dollars.
But he has hardly been hit too much, where his head is bouncing around so that must count for a bit more longevity and his lay offs must have done him some good, so i think he has lots more to give.
Hes not like Pac now is he, a warrior fighting two times every year without breaks, and getting ko'ed.
Come to think of it, punches seem to bounce off Floyds head and ive not seen Floyds neck moved too much.Comment

Thank you dude. You took the words out of my mouth. There's NO ONE out there that can challenge him in the 47,54 divison. And please dont mention Pac name"Sugar" Ray Robinson, after the age of 37, went on to lose 13 fights. "Sugar" Ray Leonard, by the time he was 37, was two years into his retirement, having lost his last fight.
Floyd Mayweather Jr, at the age of 37, is not only still boxing's biggest star and top fighter, there honestly isn't a single fighter 147-154 that the general boxing fan would push as a favorite over Floyd.Comment
