It's common in boxing. Guys lose, and then they talk about the guys that defeated them like they're absolute world-beaters. Look at how Paulie ****-rides Khan now.

Paulis thinks he's great, so anyone that stopped him must be REALLY great. Pacquiao dominating Hatton and Cotto ****ed up Paulie's fantasy.

Paulie always reminds me of his VADA request being turned down by Broner and Haymon, and threatened with fight cancellation, instead. He never talked about it since. Thing is Mayweather had this PED smoke hovering above his head, ie, testing positive three times, not to mention TBE's gym infested with roiders, but you never hear Paulie talk about it.

I think it's basically because Manny has no idea who Paulie is. Manny probably thinks Paulie is the Italian guy on Showtime who was an extra on the Sopranos and commentates on boxing as a side gig.

I don't think he hates him but as a fighter he probably looks at it this way....1)would I turn down the most lucrative payday of my life for a drug test?(you gotta admit that's a red flag even for die hard Manny fans)

2) How can you be scared of needles with tattooes

3) If you are not cheating, why do you need a cut off time?....for millions of bucks you can check my blood and piss in my sleep or in church idgaf

4)Also as a lower weight class fighter, a fighter does not go up so many weight classes and retain their speed....I don't have Malignaggi's expertise but I have been around boxing, martial arts, and wrestling my whole life and I never saw a fighter go from like featherweight to welterweight and not slow down.....Armstrong, Arguello, Mayweather, Marquez all slowed down visibly going up in weight....you cant just ignore that
