I do however think through this pity, they will make Andre Ward pay for something not in his control or responsibility, which will make things really sour. I hope they do not pull some bs where the Goosen family owns Ward as manual labor to lay for their family and expenses.

Lost a co-worker at my first job ever to liver cancer...one of the most horrific experiences I have ever seen. Nearly impossible to beat, to some extent it's better his family didn't have to go through it even though they lost their loved one suddenly. Rest in peace.

Rip Dan Goosen. Really don't know the particulars between you and Andre Ward. But from the outside looking in, you did a heck of a job with SOGs career. Negotiated for Ward (who nobody at the time considered the favorite) to fight at Oracle for the entire super six (except the finals) was under the radar and pure genius. RIP...

He has a wife and family, this process must have been tough to endure. Show some respect to them. Nobody cares about this diva Ward.

And there's no one to console. Its always sad when somebody dies. But from a boxing fan's perspective. The major story coming outta this is how will it affect Andre Ward.
