So a fighter signs a contract and takes his chances. I'm sure Gamache thought he could win his fight with Gatti or he wouldn't have taken it. Just sour g****s on his part. Why make an exception just for him, when every name fighter faces the same probem?
the thing is Gamache cud have increase his weight during that 24hours. so it dont matter

I've never boxed personally but you got to admire anyone who steps into the ring as it takes some bottle. However they know that when they step into the ring, they will have to face certain risks. The same for rugby league, gridiron, etc. These are physical sports where injuries are common place however the risks these athletes are taken are somewhat complimented with the huge amounts of money on offer...

Boxing is brutal, however it is much safer than some of these cats fighting on the streets, bare knuckle or unlicensed bouts. In boxing, it is a somewhat controlled environment so injury is limited in the vast majority of cases...

That was a while ago though.I'm trying to get in a ring so I can learn some boxing skills, instead of just standing flat-footed and going for KO's like I did before.
