The NSAC basically gave him an excuse to use when saying that they know people stage things for promotional reasons and just want to talk to him about it, it was obvious that Mayweather was going to tell them it was all for promotional purposes.

At the end of the day, he and his team knew that if they said that it would be swept under the rug, when you generate the amount of money he does you're only going to be penalized so much.
