Boxing's not only about "punishment". If he's landing the punches and Abrahammer's doing **** all, he's winning the round.

I thought it was close, a 115-113 fight either way, or a draw.

The question you have to ask - did Smith only win ONE round in that fight? Hell, did he only win THREE rounds?

He was the far more active fighter and hurt Abraham a couple of times to the body. He won at least 3 of the last 4 for me and had at least won round 1 and 5 or 6 I think.

Could easily have been a draw.

Abraham's just not active enough to win wide on cards, never has been.

AA absorbed a lot of big punches too, mostly not to the head but to the body. Canelo would get points for them, not Smith it seems.

It's w/e, I didn't have Smith winning but Kalle Sauerland is going to face a lot of criticism from British fans in a market he is trying to break into.

Whatever your thoughts in this fight, I think it shows how numbered the Abrahammer's days are. Styles make fights, but this guy lost two fights at domestic* level.



* You could argue that Groves and DeGale aren't domestic level.

Groves honestly giving it to Abraham. Considering he KO'd Smith in two, he could have gone for a Smith win there.
