I need the haters to stop making excuses. The man got whooped more convincingly this time around. Get over it. So it was the gloves and Bayless that made Maidana only land 25% of his punches vs Floyds 59%? And Floyd is dirty for clinching? But when Maidana was low blowing, trying to break arms, and throwing knees that was cool right? Yall gone hate regardless. So sad. I bet if Floyd knocked out Maidana you would have blamed Bayless and gloves for that too.

Fool that wasnt MMA. That was Olympic style track and field and Floyd's put on a rare bronze medal caliber performance

That was the only flush shot that Maidana landed in the whole fight. So if he had the gloves you wanted him to wear it still wouldn't have made a difference. You still have to land for your punch to be effective. Oh let me guess, the pillows made Maidana punch slower right? Lol. Go ahead and say it.

"The thing is this, the expectations for Floyd are beyond reality."

Wanting Floyd to fight the best in and around his division is beyond reality?

IMO Maidana did as well in the 2nd fight as he did in the first, maybe better. It's just that Floydie had his Bayless Insurance Policy in effect and didn't get penalized for holding like he SHOULD have for BLATANT holding. Either that or he ran like the chicken he is.

And what's this, more hero worship from Unkee Jeff? Wow, why am I not surprised? Someone sure is sucking up to try for a big payday w/money team.

Just put the clip up and prove me wrong , Maidana came forward with a bomb and Floyd stepped forward right into it , put the dam clip up and cut your BS .

No ! Horse hair ... Especially unicorn hair ... Allows you to land at will. Had Maidana been allowed to use his gloves instead of those pillows blah blah blah etc... I'm no where near as creative as some of these other guys, sorry.

Were you that indignant after the first fight? Maidana wasn't penalised for blantant headbutting, hammer punching and low blowing and even attempted knee lifts..... all encouraged by his trainer. I have nothing against inside fight (which Bayless didn't allow and that was ridiculous), it was blatant fouling and part of Garcia's gameplan.

If you don't like rule breaking, call ALL of it or else you're just biased and void your point. As for calling pro boxers "chicken" (when the closest you likely get is ringside, if you're lucky), it just isn't cool.

Anyway, the point Jeff made and is the poignant one, is that when Mayweather stands and fights, it's because Maidana made him (according to Maidana's fans and plenty of others). Then plenty latch onto Roach's ******: "His legs are gone" comments- AGAIN, as they did after the Cotto fight. Mayweather boxes and makes life much easier for himself in the rematch, using his legs and he's a coward and a runner. Easier to insult than just say "I (and Roach) got it wrong, Mayweather's legs are still there" (even if his reflexes have slowed). What did Roach and his gullible listeners say about Mayweather's legs after the Canelo fight? I can't remember. That's why it's called "smoke". You notice it at the time but you forget about it after it disappears.
