I'm sorry Jeff, everything you said was wrong. Floyd showed he had to clinch every 10 seconds in the fight because his legs are gone. When a fighter can't box, he ties his opponent up. If that Floyd fought Manny, he would have been KOed...

Poor Jeff, still trying desperately to get his nephew to give him a job or put him on the payroll.

Floyd can take it? When has that been proven? His style is designed so that he doesn't take any clean shots. Floyd was obviously scared after the first fight that Maidana might hit him clean in the rematch and thus bought off Bayless to ensure that wouldn't happen. Jeff Mayweather says Floyd made sure that Maidana couldn't get off his big shots but really it was Bayless who had that job. Maidana looked worse in the rematch, even considering Bayless' bias. Whether that was do to his frustration with Floyd's movement and/or Bayless' role, he boxing poorly and wasn't aggressive enough. I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana took an extra mil or so to not push the pace. It certainly appeared that way. Furthermore, his corner didn't seem too concerned with Bayless' elimination of inside fighting.

Once Floyd knew the fight was pretty much in the bag — which I thought he won ten out of twelve rounds — he showed everybody that he still has his legs and Freddie Roach is just blowing smoke up everybody’s ass. [Click Here To Read More]

Hearing Jeff say this is crazy. He grabed Maidana and didn't let him get anything off..... No ****! And what Floyd did in the twelfth??? That was cool too right??? Lol that **** was a joke. Mayweather shouldn't have even fought him again if that was gonna be the game plan. It was a good hard fought fight the first time. You rematch Maidana and it's to either knock him out like Hatton or blaze him like Gatti.

Oh yeah I get it its because he stood in the pocket and got beat on as opposed to his usual way of "boxing" in which he dominates his opponents. And I don't understand the excessive holding. Everytime Maidana pinned Floyd against the ropes and started teeing off, Floyd clinched. Every fighter does that. I can understand if Floyd did a Khan or Hatton and just clinch after every time he throws a punch but that wasn't the case. He only did it when pushed against the rope to take maidana out of his gameplan because that was the only way he could land punches. That's a common strategy. Floyd fought a smarter fight, was more dominant, and took less punishment. How you figure that performance was less then the first baffles me.
