Knew it was happening, but if the newer reported specifics are true, I'm not very impressed. The 4 NBC shows just isn't enough. I know there's a long term plan, and NBC won't just open the floodgates and give him a whole bunch of dates but they've done a lot just for a little.
Just thinking about how he held his guys out of competitive fights to preserve them for this venture, seems a catch-22. He had the chance to build stars, but held them back. This could've been a situation where he was bringing stars into the operation, but that's not really the case. They are all just potential stars, if that who will need to be developed.
The NBCSN dates will be good, but there's still limited exposure and viewership there. That team on Haymon Boxing better have an excellent strategy for digital and streaming because that's where they'll get their reach.
