I do not agree with your assessment. It makes more sense for Arum to keep Manny away from FMJ considering Manny's track record against Marquez. Manny has never truly passed the Marquez test. If it is one thing Arum would know, it would be FMJ's boxing ability. Manny would be at a distinct disadvantage style wise against FMJ. PPV numbers only add a cherry on top of why Arum would not make the fight.

                • He's broke? The dude got a 20m payday against Bradley & probably 15-20+m again for the Algieri fight.

Mayweather acting like Pacquiao making 10m less than him per fight makes him broke.

The dude made 25+ for JMM 3, 4, & Bradley 1 each. I doubt he's got any money problems now that he's cleaned up his bad habits.

                  Keep on ducking, Mayweather.

Last time I checked, it was Floyd's representative Richard Schaeffer who bailed at the last minute when he and Arum were scheduled to meet with Jerry Jones in Dallas to get him to bank roll the fight. Arum ended up flying to Dallas on his lonesome and he and Jerry Jones quickly recovered from Schaeffer's abrupt and unexplained no show by setting up the Clottey fight.

How impressed do you think Jerry Jones was with Floyd's rep bailing at the last minute?

Anyway, that's all in the past now. It's water under the bridge. It is now 2014 and it's time we put our fingers in the dyke and acknowledge that 4 years later Pacquiao is desperate as ever to get the fight with Mayweather.
