What I was highlighting was the FACT that Manny, and Arum have been lying since this fight was announced and have done everything possible to make it not happen.

Saying that the testing was no problem then saying they can't do it.

Changing their fight dates to avoid Floyd after saying they wanted to fight him next in May.

Turning down his offer of 40 after saying they didn't care about the money, only to come back and say it was a low ball offer only to turn and ask him to fight for charity..................?

Telling people they were in negotiations with Floyd only to turn and admit that they never actually talked to anyone directly involved with him about the fight?

I mean you guys can't be that slow to fall for their smoke and mirror campaign.

No, and he doesn't have to. Floyd just does not want Arum involved period, that much is clear. Whether Manny signs with Floyd or he is a free agent, as long as Arum steps aside. Given the b.s. he has been pulling that is a more than reasonable request. It's not like he won't be compensated, he would still get a cut of Manny's purse plus step aside money.

You really have to take Manny out of this equation, and I think we can all agree that he has no pull in this situation. Given Arums history, frequency in which his top fighters, try to leave his stable citing his less than favorable management practices its safe to say Manny isn't making any decisions here.

We know who the problem is.

Could you also find the video of the Pacquiao interview from 2005? Its post Morales 1 and he discusses when they took his blood the day before the loss to Morales and he did in fact believe them taking his blood resulted in him feeling weakened.

Whatever or whoever you choose to believe, the simple fact remains that 4 years before Floyd demanded taking Pacquiao's blood, there existed documented evidence that Pacquiao had good reason to be reluctant about giving his blood so close to the fight.

There is good reason to think he had something to hide except for the existing evidence that he had a negative experience with giving blood close to fight night and the fact that he would give blood immediately after the fight, and would give them all the urine anytime they desired.

That just makes it worse, if Top Rank knew Manny had this problem and it was documented then why did they say they were fine with the test initially? Did they all of the sudden forget? Whats the excuse not to mention a detail that is apparently so big that they didn't make a fight over it?

They used that as an excuse, plain as day. Your telling me it took them two weeks to come back and say...you know what Manny has a problem giving blood.

and your reason is arum is protecting his cash cow? doe, pacquiao has been beaten twice recently, but it didn't prevent him from pulling in 850K with a guy like bradley, and with crappy undercards. espinoza can't even have the stomach to lie about TBE's maidana fights. the first one was even packed with stars like khan, broner and matthysse.

doe stop this ****** nonsense. you're not fooling anyone. arum is not protecting anyone. pacman had faced far more dangerous fighters than a running, clinching, potshotting, boring fighter like TBE. no one ducks such extremely defensive fighter like TBE.

                • I would love nothing more than for this fight to happen, but I understand Floyd's position.

After all that has transpired over the last 5 years, Mayweather would be doing Pacquiao and Arum a massive favor granting them the fight after the **** they've pulled.

I just don't see Floyd being the bigger man in this and letting bygones be bygones.

This stopped being about money and legacy and became a personal matter long ago.

My reason is that they were using him as promotion, but judging from your response your comprehension isn't that great considering everyone else that responded to me understood what I was saying just fine.

I will dumb it down for you next time.

i know exactly what happened in the first and second round of negotiations. arum even hired a mediator. i could imagine TBE cowering in fear in his corner of the conference table making all kinds of excuses not to fight. schaefer and hoya were there, the mediator, one ped expert, then arum, all of them pleading it's okay to fight pacman. you will all read this in a book, you'll see.
